To conclude of a day dedicated to new technologies for the development of sound and music archives, this session coincides with the publication of the second issue of IRCAM's journal L'Inouï (IRCAM-Léo Scheer).
It offers musicology-based insight into the writings of Philippe Leroux, the problems linked to the archiving of the creative process and the possible uses for this material in an educational arena.
We will also have a quick look at the documentation process for pieces produced at IRCAM, talking specifically about the technology used and the MUSTICA database.
Participants: Nicolas Donin (Head of Analysis of Musical Practices Team, IRCAM) | Samuel Goldszmidt (Multimedia Developer, IRCAM).
Thursday, June 15, 6:30pm-7:45pm / IRCAM, salle Stravinsky
